VB Tutorial: Sticky Note Holder
Hola VB Amigos,

Today I will be sharing a fun project using your washi tape from the Written in the Stars VBKit.

Being creative with my supplies is what I live for, making things work for me is my number 1 priority. In this month's VBKit Tiffany generously added 2 styles of full box sticky notes along with half circle transparent sticky notes.

To avoid adding bulk to my planner I created a Sticky Note Holder that I can easily add just enough notes that I need. I also made the insert removable so I can add it to my daily, weekly, or monthly section.

Here is what you will need to make this project:

Written in the Stars Washi Tape
Paper Trimmer
Laminator
Laminating sheets 3mm
Scissors

Grab your constellation washi tape and double it up onto itself according to the size of your insert. I have a personal size planner so my insert measures at 3.74in by 6.73in.
Next you want to use your trimmer and size it down to have at least ¼ of an inch room on top and bottom of your inserts, this will leave room to keep the laminating sheet to be sized the length of the insert.
Next I wanted to add a tab design to the washi so I picked out the cloud sticker from the washi roll. You can pick any design you want and add it to the washi strip where you'd like the tab.
Once you have that set you want to cut up a laminating sheet and with the measurements of your insert add a ¼ inch width extra to your sheet. This will leave enough room for your tab.

Note: Only the washi strip and tab will go in the laminating sheet, not the insert used for the measurements / placement template.
Once you have it placed where you want it, run the laminating sheet through your laminator.
Next trim down the sheet to your insert size and fussy cut the side where your tab is.
The last step is either punch holes for your ring planner and cut slits to the holes or just leave it as is for a TN planner.
Now add the amount of sticky notes that you want without adding bulk to your planner.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I hope to see you trying out this fun project.

Happy Planning!
