VB Tutorial: Gratitude Mini Book
Hi VB Fam!

I am so excited to share this new project with you all. When I saw the Zodiac Cards from the June “Written in the Stars” monthly VBKit, I knew exactly what I wanted to create. I’ll be celebrating my 50th birthday on July 25th. To document this milestone, I decided to create a gratitude book. I’ve even given it a title: 50 at 50: Reflections of Things I’m Grateful For. Starting on July 1st, I plan to write down two things a day that I am grateful for in my life. I think that this will be a great way to capture this moment and spend some time reflecting on how blessed I am. By the time my birthday arrives, I’ll have my gratitude list completed with room for even more! It’s amazing to me that something so beautiful was so simple to create.

Supplies Needed:
2 Zodiac Cards
4 Mini Planner Discs
Notepaper
Disc Paper Punch (other options discussed below)
Stickers or other embellishments
First, I had to choose the front and back cover for my book. I used the “Leo” card for the front and the VB title card for the back cover.
I used my disc punch to create four holes along the edge of both cards. I had to decide which side of the VB title card to use for the back side of the book so that I punched the holes along the correct edge.
Next, I added four gold mini discs to the front and back covers.
After putting the outside of the book together, I added some note paper to the inside. I used micro note paper from The Happy Planner® because it was the perfect size. If you don’t have it available, you can use copy paper as well.
The next task I had to complete was the title page. I pulled out a sticker book that had gold-trimmed boxes and an alphabet sticker book.
Quick and simple. I cannot believe how beautiful this turned out. I even added a little birthday cake in the corner because...why not! Now, it’s sitting in the perfect spot on my desk ready to be filled. Needless to say, I am in awe, and I can’t wait to fill it from cover to cover! I can think of a million uses for a mini book such as this. What would you use one for?

I hope you’re feeling inspired! If you decide to create one, I’d love to see yours. Make sure you tag me @drinkcoffee.makestuff and @shopvillabeautifful on Instagram and make sure you post in the VillabeauTIFFul Community Facebook group.

Until next time, happy planning!
