It's Jennie McGarvey and I am thrilled to share with you a simple and easy way to memory keep with villabeauTIFFul. Have you seen the beautiful digital die cuts that come with this months' VBKit, Shine Bright? They are stunning and I knew I had to use them.
I have a new puppy (well, she's a year old now) and I haven't done much documenting of her life. So, I decided to create a simple mini album of photos full of her. I wanted to keep this simple to show you that compiling favorite photos and printing a few of the beautiful shapes can create something really special.
After I printed 3 copies of 4 of the shapes, I cut them out by hand. (I could have easily done this with a Silhouette or Cricut. However, I enjoy cutting by hand and these are simple shapes so I went with it!) I sized these gems to be approximately 3.75" wide so that they would all be around the same size. The backside of the die cuts are white, so I could adhere my 4x6 photos to the back.
I only wanted to embellish the cover so that the inside would be approachable for anyone new to memory keeping and so that the focus would be on the photos, like a brag book of sorts. Thanks to the included items in the Shine Bright VBKit, I could use those so easily!
I placed one of the holographic die cuts on the ring. Then, I removed the beads (so pretty!) from the paper clip and threaded them on the ring on top of the die cut. I absolutely love how it turned out.
Let's take a look at the individual pages!
All you need to create a brag book like this is a few 4x6 photos and the villabeauTIFFul digital die cuts! So easy and so satisfying for yourself or to give as a gift!
This is darling!!
