VB Tutorial: Moon Phase Banner

Hi, Dana here. Today I’m going to show you how to make a simple moon phase banner using the beautiful papers from the September "Magical Plans" VB Kit.

Supplies needed:

VB Kit Paper
Marker
Scissors
Ribbon
Hot glue or stapler

Step One: Trace 9 circles onto your paper. I used my ribbon spool as a guide, but you can make these as big or small as you would like.

Step Two: Cut the circles out of your paper. Then, take your marker and start dividing your circles.

You should have:

1 full circle

2 circles split in half

4 with large crescents

2 with small crescents

Step Three: Fill in your divided circles as shown above. After that, attach them to your ribbon using a hot glue gun or a stapler. That’s it. Now you have a cute moon phase banner to hang wherever you like.
