Supplies used:

• VB Kit 3x4 Journaling Card
• VB Kit Sticker Book
• VB Kit Washi Tapes
• Happy Planner Punch
• Corner Rounder
• Scissors 
• Micro Happy Planner

Step 1: Pick which card and tapes you want to use for the project. I chose the Rainbow card because I think the tapes will really complement the colors and art. Then, choose a pattern and direction for the tapes. I alternated each of the washi tapes included in this month’s VB kit and chose to roll them out diagonally on the back of the journaling card.

Cover as much of the card as you want! You can leave a corner or section blank or fill it up all the way like I did.

Step 2: Trim the excess washi around the card.

I used a tiny pair of scissors and carefully trimmed the washi using the front of the journaling card as a guide.

Step 3: Round the corners and punch for your planner. I used a small corner rounder I found at Hobby Lobby and the original Happy Planner punch I bought at Michael’s years ago. If you’re punching for the Micro Happy Planner, you want to make sure you line up the punch marks so that the card will be centered once you put it into your planner. As you can see on my punch, I’ve used washi tape to mark where to punch for my Micro.

Step 5: Add to your planner! You can use just one for a cute VB touch or use all five of the 3x4 journaling cards to make a full set of dashboard/dividers for your Micro planner. This technique also works great for the 4x6 and 5x7 journaling cards if you use a larger planner.
