It’s Cece here and today I’m sharing a new project. Today I’m sharing how I made my October memory keeping book using the VB October Kit. The theme this month is Magical Plans and it’s perfect for October. I decided to make a memory book for October to record our plans, stuff to buy for the holiday, and as a flash back to past Halloweens.
 

Supplies I used:

Hole punch

Ribbon

Blank Paper

VB paper

VB journal cards

VB sticky notes

VB stickers

VB die cuts

Adhesive tape

First off, I had to choose the perfect paper to use as my cover. Then I add white sheets of paper inside the book, each cut down to the same exact size as the cover. I then used my hole punch to make two holes for the ribbons (ribbon just for cuteness).

After that, it's cover deco time! I used one of the journaling cards to adorn the top and I used stickers and washi tape for more decorations. The paper clip at the bottom of the book is for a little more bling!

I then open up the book and use the first page to label what the book is about. For this I use a sticky note.

Next, I created a page in the book using VB Kit Stickers to make to list. One list for our plans (haunted house, pumpkin patch, Halloween party...etc) this October and another list for things to buy (costumes, decorations, candy...etc) for the holiday.

On the next few pages I wanted to flashback to past events from past Octobers to remember. They are adorned with VB Kit stickers and die cuts. I also added a journal card to use as a place to write memories in on the back of the card.

The journaling card can be flipped to see the lines I added to note memories about what we did on those days.

You can also add some letter stickers to the cover to show what the book is about. I plan to use this book for October only. If I need to add pages I can easily untie the ribbon and add more blank paper. I think this booklet is perfect for on the go memory keeping and planning all in one.
