VB Product Close Up: Slim Folder

Hello Villababes!

Today I’ll be sharing a close up look at a new product to VB. The Slim Folder was first featured in the August 2019 VBKit "VB Studio." A question that some of you may have is, "How do I use this if I don't use a Hobonichi?!" No worries! This product may be made to fit Hobo sized planners, but that's definitely not the only way to use it.

Per the website description, this product is "a slim folder to keep all of your planner stuff together (especially in your hobonichi planners) for on the go planning!"
The outside of this trifold folder features a beautiful rose gold foiled pattern with VBPens, bows, hearts, and lashes. Inside you will find multiple pockets in various sizes. There are two pockets on the first and third pages and the middle page has one pocket with three cut-outs perfect for holding your planner clips.

Regardless of which planner you use, this folder is super functional for carrying around your favorite items. I've stuffed mine a couple of different ways to help give you some ideas.
The larger side pockets are great for holding longer sticky note pads or sticker sheets. The 3x4 journaling cards as well as the mini deco sticker sheets fit in the smaller side pockets. In the middle pocket, I have a hobo-sized sticker sheet and a couple of cute clips stuck into the slotted area. These stickers, as well as the folder, work wonderfully with ANY kind of planner. Especially since a lot of popular layouts right now are in the smaller size range! I love having these sheets for easy on-the-go planning, and having a folder to contain them all is just the cherry on top!

Or if you prefer to keep the folder in your handbag or clutch, you can pack it a little differently. I still kept a sheet of stickers in the pocket, but added a couple of bookmarks and a washi card. You never know when you'll find time to squeeze in a quick reading or planning break! There's also room to stash your receipts and your gift cards so they aren't floating around in your bags.

Now let's chat about a few ways you can carry this thing!! I don't have a hobo cover at the time of this post, but on the listing photo in the shop, you can see how Tiff has hers placed inside. If your planner has strings, you can slip the slim folder right in!

I use a B6 TN and the slim folder fits height-wise, so I can also just pop it in there and go.
If you have the VBPen case, it also fits inside those pockets!

And of course, it should fit into most clutches and handbags!
