VB Product Close Up: Page Flags Part 2

Hello VillaFolx!

Today I will be showcasing some ways I use the VB page flags. These have been included in a lot of recent VBKits. The shop lists these as: 5 transparent colored page flags attached to a hard plastic tab card. Each color has 30 flags. Size: 1.5 in. x .50 in

For these, you’ll need a good pen/marker that won’t smear. My go to pen for writing on the VB page flags is the Sakura Microperm! These dry quickly and have a variety of sizes (.05, .03, and .01).

The first thing I love doing is pre-planning with them. Color coding is an additional step I take to keep everything in order. I take a page flag of each color and give them a category. With these categories in mind, I write specifics on each flag and place them in my planner. Since it’s pre-planning, when things change all I have to do is lift the page flag up and move it. I like to do this weeks or even months in advance.

Note: The 1.5 inch width is perfect for most standard size planner boxes/columns.

Task cards are another great way to use VB page flags! The idea behind task cards is to add function and interactivity to your planner. The card focuses on a topic/area and each page flag is a task to be completed. My task card is for my on the go planner. My tasks are gas, shopping (groceries), ATM, post office, and event. 5 things that need to get done!

When planning for the week, I place these down first. Then I can write the rest of my plans. When I complete a task during the week, I remove the page flag and place it back on the card.

TIP: The VB transparent cards are a great backing to put the VB page flags on! The VB Transparent Icon Stickers are great for adding a little visual to each task.

The last way I use VB page flags is to add a pop of color for items that need extra attention. You can use an adhesive roller to give them some extra stick or just pull them off when the task/event is completed/done (kinda like the task card). These have worked really well in the B6 VB Sampler Insert I’ve been trying out.

Thank you for taking some time to read my blog post. Be sure to share how you use your VB page flags on the VillabeauTIFFul Instagram or Facebook group. I’m looking forward to seeing how you use them!
