Whether you're considering purchasing the VB Basic Kit + Paper Pack for the first time or if you've already bought it and are wondering what to do with the extra papers you may have left over each month, I put together this list of quick and easy ideas.
In myunboxingvideos, I always say that the paper packs are great for making dashboards, dividers, and covers. And that's true! They can be as simple or intricate as you prefer, with the basic steps being to trim the papers down to your planner size and then punch to fit inside.
The papers are already double sided so you can totally leave them all as is after they're trimmed and punched. If you like your planners to be a little #extra though, it's really simple to jazz them up with items from the VBKits or things that you probably already have somewhere in your crafty stash.
Pockets can be easily added onto your papers, even if you don't have an adhesive pocket to spare. You can simply cut down a smaller piece of paper to fit across and then use adhesive such as glue or a tape runner to secure the bottom and sides to your divider/dashboard/or inside your cover. Play around with the shapes of the pocket to see what style you like!
Pen loops, stickers, and tabs from the VBKits are also fun to add! Washi can be used all over the entire thing or just to decorate a corner. Sticky notes also make a cute addition when glued down.
Add your papers into a photo frame to bring a little VB flair to your wall, desk, or shelves. Layer on some die cuts for a fun touch!
The papers can easily be reversed for a new look and switched out each month to coordinate with the VBKits.
Happy mail is a great way to brighten someone's day! The VB papers come folded already so all you have to do to make a card is trim it down to your desired size. You can glue a sticky note or piece of copy paper to the inside of the card to add in a message.
Or maybe you want to infuse your space with a little more deco?! I found a journaling card from an older VBKit that matched the colors of the Shine Bright VBKit so well that I wanted to add it as a display on my cork board. I trimmed it to size, added in a small piece of vellum that I cut vertically for some added dimension, and finished it off with some washi tape.
If you own one of theVB Sticker Albums, the papers are a wonderful way to coordinate them with your monthly kits or showcase a favorite pattern. Simply cut one of the papers down to size and slide it into the first pocket.
We can't forget the scraps! The smaller pieces of paper left over from projects can be used with paper punches to create confetti for happy mail, decorative layering pieces, or tabs for your planners!
There are TONS of project possibilities for the paper packs, whether you're a project pro or new to paper crafting. I wanted to put together this list to show that not every paper project requires a mile long list of supplies or a 20 step long tutorial.
