Today I will be showing you what I love to do with myVB page flags. We have been so lucky to have gotten these in the VBKits since May. I love them so much and I'll show you how you can use them in your monthly spreads.
I currently use the Monthly Inserts from Cloth and Paper. This is an easy way to keep track of all my kids' activities throughout the month.
*I will be showing you how I used theOctober VBKit page flagsbut for privacy reasons, I will show you the finished result from October.
So when using the page flags, I have a couple favorite pens to use. One is the Microperm pen - I tried to use the Unipin but Microperm dries faster.
Here I will also be using my VBPen, washi from the October Cafe Papershire VBKit, and of course the page flags.
I use the washi to block out any days that aren't part of the month I am working on. It's just a cute way to use the washi and incorporate it into the spread.
Then I have written down any huge reminders for the upcoming month and listed them on the left. I like this way of planning for the month so I can move and reposition any flags of activities that cancel or are rescheduled. Once all of your dates/events are written on your page flags, simply put them onto the correct date! They can then be transferred as needed to different days or to the next monthly layout.
I also like colors on my calendars. I can easily color code for doctor appts, birthdays, meetings, phone calls, etc by using the various colors available in the page flag sets.
I use the skinny washi to mark an ongoing task by placing it downward, as it was a task that happened every Friday.
I also used the clear decorative cards from the kit in a credit card holder. I placed it in between the 2 monthly sheets so I can mark where I am in the calendar year.
Thank you for joining me for this month's plan with me as I schedule in my month's activities, food prep, and appts. It's simple but gives so much functionality and color to my schedules.
