VB Close Up: Fashionista Plan-with-Me

For today’s blog post I wanted to share a little plan with me using the Fashionista VBKit. One of the best things about the kit is the sticker book - you can do several weeks worth of planning with just this one sticker book.

Before I started my weekly planning, I kept looking at the transparent cards and knew I wanted to incorporate them in my week somehow, but I didn’t know quite how I wanted to go about it. Do I glue them in? Washi tape them in? Double sided tape them in? I thought to myself ‘ok, I’ll come back to this’ and as I was popping out my page marker to start planning, I thought ‘duh! I can hole punch it in!’ And so I did exactly that! I punched a few holes in one of the cards and put it in my planner. I made sure to leave a little bit extra up top so it can stick out past my pages so I can easily know where my week is.

Ok, now it’s time to start planning. I don’t know about you, but I tend to stick to the same style each week. What works, works...right?

I always start off with the days of the week. Sometimes it’s tough to choose between the two sets of date covers you get in the VB sticker book, but then again I know I’ll use the other set the following week.

Next, I lay down my work days. For the most part, I don’t do anything on my work days so I know I can use a full box and a quarter or half box for that day.

I really love the larger stickers that were included in the VB sticker book for this month. I knew I had a few projects that I needed to get done this weekend, so I was able to create a space for them and have them stand out as a reminder to get it done.

Once I set up my week with things I knew ahead of time, it was time to add the deco! I had nothing going on this weekend so it was a prefect opportunity to use my favorite stickers and decorate the weekend.

Here is my finished weekly spread. I added a few flags and some bullet points, and now it’s ready for the pen.

One last thing... I needed space for a few notes on the projects I was working on this weekend, so I took a few pages from the notepad in the VBKit, punched a few holes in it, and added it in. Perfect for extra notes or things you have to “pencil” in.

I’ve been having a ton of fun seeing everyone's different planning styles and the different ways the VBKit is being used.
