Hi VB friends!

It’s Maria here, and I’m super excited to share with you some of the fun things I made using the August kit “VB Studio”. This kit is filled with all kinds of beautiful details and gives us a peek into Tiff’s VB Studio. The actual pictures from her studio that were turned into cards are absolutely stunning, and really makes you feel like you’re in planner heaven. So let’s get started!

Supplies used:

• VB kit 3x4 cards
• VB kit paper and vellum
• VB kit sticky notes
• VB kit washi
• VB kit stickers
• Ribbons, fabric trim 
• Paper trimmer
• Gold foil doilies

I’m using a Webster’s Pages Personal TN for my set up this month. The pink and white combo I thought went really well with this month’s theme. I started with 3 WB inserts, a monthly/weekly, blank pages, and dotted insert. 

Step 1: I took the inserts apart by taking the staple out and taking the cover off. I measured by insert and using my paper trimmer, I cut down the paper to fit over my inserts. One of the inserts had a simple black and white pattern, so I decided to leave that one as is because it went well with the rest of the coordinating paper.

Step 2: For the first insert, I took a gold foil doily that I had in my stash and layered a 3x4 card on top with some stickers. I trimmed the top corners, hole punched it, and added ribbon to add some texture. I put some pink ribbon on the bottom as well for dimension, and love how it’s peeking out and adding a pop of color.

Step 3: The second insert has one of my favorite pieces from this kit, the sticky notes. It shows an adorable display on top of the drawers and has lots of really good space to write down notes. I took one of the sticky notes, glued it down, layered some washi pieces to the top left and a piece of gold washi to the bottom. Fun fact: This gold scalloped washi is actually from one of Tiff’s VB kit’s from a while back! I use it all the time and love how it adds a splash of sparkle every time. I also added some pink pom trim to the edge of the cover.

Step 4: On the last insert, I layered a 3x4 card on top of a gold doily. I found this adorable pink flower lace in my stash, and added that to the bottom. I also put more of that gold scalloped washi under the flowers for added sparkle. To finish it off, I put two of the tab stickers from the kit on the first and last insert for added cuteness.

This kit has to be one of my all-time favorites (I say that every time, lol). The coordinating pens, pocket folder, and dainty stickers are absolutely adorable!!!
