VB Close Up: Autumn Lane Setup

VB friends!

It’s Maria here, and I can’t wait to share with you my set up using the “Autumn Lane” October VB kit. The air is crisp, coffee is brewing, and it’s boots and sweater weather! This is one of my favorite months of the year (partly because it’s my birthday month ☺ ), and I couldn’t wait to set up my planner for the fall!

When I saw the color scheme for the October kit, I knew right away what planner I was going to use. My Kate Spade Wellesley personal size ring planner in Gold is the perfect color for the fall, and has just the right amount of sparkle!

Supplies used:

VB kit 3x4 cards
VB kit paper and vellum
VB kit note pad
VB kit washi
VB kit stickers
Personal size hole punch
Paper trimmer
Ribbon
Clear Pocket

Step 1: I picked three of the papers that came in the VB kit to use as my pockets. Since they are already folded in half, it was really easy to use.

Step 2: I took a divider that I already had in my planner to use as a guide for what sizes I wanted. Using my paper trimmer, I made each pocket a little bit smaller than the one before, so that I could layer them together. Then I cut a slanted part off of each, and used some thin tape to glue the other two sides down. Lastly, I punched them to fit in my planner.

Step 3: The last step is to embellish as you’d like. I took some tags and put them in the front small pocket. I added washi to one of the tags so that I always have some with me just in case I need it.

I also cut one of the “This Week” notepad papers and cut it into small squares, stapled it together, and made a tiny booklet to put in the pocket. So Cute!

The other pockets I filled with 3x4 cards and stickers. I made the pumpkin paperclip by fussy cutting one of the stickers, and put it on a clip. On the front side of the large pocket, I attached a clear pocket from the Dollar Spot, and put a card and clip in it too.
